Unexpected Visitor

This morning we had an unexpected visitor land on our school field! 

Responding to a local emergency within the village, the West Midlands Air Ambulance used our school field to land their helicopter as we were the closest flat ground.

Once the paramedics had left the site to assist with the emergency, the pilot very kindly let children visit and look inside the helicopter. 

We hope that all are well within the village, and we thank West Midlands Air Ambulance for their patience when answering lots of questions from enquiring minds! More photos to follow in this week's School Bell!
