Road Closure - B4224 Mordiford to Minstrels Court

Dear Parents,

 

We need to let you know about some work taking place on the B4224, from Mordiford to Minstrels Court.

 

Balfour Beatty will be carrying out surface dressing works, which will be taking place in three stages:

 

• Preparation works: Works will be taking place from Wednesday 29th June 2022 to (and including) Thursday 30th June 2022. The road will remain open but under two-way temporary traffic signals.
• Surface dressing: Works will be taking place from Tuesday 12th July 2022 to (and including) Friday 15th July 2022. The road will be closed between 9:30am and 3:30pm each day. 
• Lining works: Works will be taking place on Wednesday 20th July 2022 for one day only. The road will be closed between 9:30am and 3:30pm.

 

The fully signed diversion route is via the B4224 / B4399 / A49 (Ross Road) / A438 / B4224 and vice versa.

 

Surface dressing is highly weather dependent meaning the programme of work could change at any time. This may happen at short notice and without further notification. All changes will be highlighted on the advance warning signs, which you’ll find onsite at the roadworks. If you need to book After School Club, a gentle reminder that bookings close at midnight the Sunday before. The first session is called 'Afternoon' on ParentPay, and runs from 3pm to 4:10pm.
